FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions!

The cost of water for pressure washing in Wake and Johnston County, North Carolina, is typically minimal. On average, pressure washing uses about 8 gallons per minute. For a standard home exterior cleaning, you might use around 200 to 300 gallons, which is roughly the same as two to three loads of laundry. Based on local water rates, this might only add a few dollars to your water bill—often less than $10.

At Green Eagle Pressure Washing, we use efficient equipment designed to minimize water waste while still delivering powerful results. If you're in areas like Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, or Clayton, you can trust us to provide a thorough clean without significantly impacting your water bill.

"Will the high pressure from a pressure washer cause damage to my home?"

The short answer is yes. It CAN damage your home but that's why you hire a professional. We use a technique called soft washing during our house washes here in North Carolina.

Soft washing is a gentle yet highly effective cleaning method that uses low-pressure water combined with eco-friendly detergents to remove dirt, mold, mildew, and algae from your home’s exterior. Unlike traditional pressure washing, soft washing is safer for delicate surfaces like siding, roofs, and windows. It helps extend the life of your home’s exterior materials while also preventing future growth of harmful bacteria.

At Green Eagle Pressure Washing, serving the Wake and Johnston County areas, including Garner, Raleigh, Clayton, and Fuquay-Varina, we recommend soft washing to protect your investment and maintain curb appeal. It's the ideal solution for keeping your home clean without causing damage.

3

"How often should I pressure wash my home?"

Most homes in Wake and Johnston County benefit from pressure washing once a year. However, if you notice heavy dirt, mold, or mildew buildup due to North Carolina’s humidity, you might need more frequent cleanings.

4

Do I need to be home during the pressure washing service?

No, as long as we have access to water and the areas to be cleaned, you don’t need to be present. We’ll notify you when the job is complete! We do require a deposit for jobs that the owner will not be home.
